About the Role

Slegg Building Materials is seeking a highly skilled EWP Senior Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design and engineering department, you will play a crucial role in creating floor layouts for residential and commercial projects using Istruct software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement design solutions that meet customer needs and company standards.
  2. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of design projects.
  3. Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents to inform design decisions.
  4. Ensure designs are accurate and meet regulatory requirements.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in engineered wood design.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience with Istruct software and other relevant design tools.
  2. Strong working knowledge of wood frame structures, including truss systems and design.
  3. Minimum 5 years experience in Engineered Wood Design.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
