Food Service Supervisor | Customer Experience Expert

About the Role:
As a Food Service Supervisor at A&W, you will be responsible for establishing efficient work schedules and supervising the activities of food preparation staff. Your tasks will include training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimating ingredient and supply requirements, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. Additionally, you will address customer complaints, maintain records, and prepare reports.
Work Setting:
Our restaurant environment is fast-paced with tight deadlines, requiring flexibility and a strong client focus. You will work closely with a team of 5-10 people, including cooks, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff
- Train staff in job duties and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Hire food service staff
- Ensure quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records and prepare reports
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
- Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Conditions:
