Metalsmith - Assembler

We are seeking an experienced Metalsmith - Assembler to join our team at Singh Metal Fabrication Limited.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fitting metal structures, operating heavy-duty metal-working machines, and ensuring high-quality products.

• Determine the required materials and plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal efficiently
• Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly
• Study engineering drawings and blueprints to understand product specifications
• Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures
• Weld or bolt sections together to create a strong bond
• Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to shape and cut metal
• Construct patterns and templates to ensure precision
• Install fabricated components in the final product
• Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite

• This role requires physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle heavy loads and operate machinery
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential
• Hand-eye coordination and attention to detail are necessary to ensure accuracy and quality
• Overtime may be required to meet production demands

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required to collaborate with colleagues and management
• Organizational skills and reliability are necessary to manage workload and prioritize tasks
• Flexibility and adaptability are essential to respond to changing production demands

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
