Asphalt Paver and Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Paver and Labourer to join our team at Globelgreen Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading construction materials, performing pre-operational inspections, erecting and dismantling forms, mixing and spreading asphalt, and paving and raking the material.

This is a permanent role with 30-44 hours of work per week in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. To excel in this position, you should have excellent client focus, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork skills.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment where safety is paramount, and we expect our employees to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Perform pre-operational inspection to ensure the quality and safety of the construction site
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades as required
  • Mix, pour and spread asphalt to achieve smooth and even surfaces
  • Pave and rake asphalt to prepare it for use on roads and other infrastructure
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites to maintain a clean and safe working environment
