K-WAY TRANS LTD. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Valid passport and criminal record check.
  • Driver's validity licence check and driving record check (abstract).
  • Drug test and valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a truck driver.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and excellent written communication skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
