International Risk Management Specialist

Overview: This role participates in the development, implementation and monitoring of international safety education, training, processes, and communications. Key Responsibilities:

The Safety Abroad Coordinator maintains traveller records in Waterloo International's Client Relationships Management (CRM) software system. They are responsible for maintaining the pre-departure training course in LEARN as per the University's travel safety requirements.

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time, 1-year term position at the University of Waterloo.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience.

How You Will Contribute:

  • You will deliver in-person travel safety briefings to students and staff.
  • You will work with stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor international safety education, training, processes, and communications.
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date traveller records in CRM.
