Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Technological Education teacher to fill a Long-Term Occasional (LTO) secondary contract opportunity for the 2024-2025 school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Technological Education courses to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practices

Requirements:

  • Valid Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certificate
  • Intermediate and Senior qualifications in Technological Education
  • Experience teaching Technological Education courses to students in grades 9-12
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
