About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Service Supervisor to join our team at Saskatoon Truck & Trailer Repair Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-ordination and Communication: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and train staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Work Scheduling and Planning: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
  • Operational Logistics: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the parts department, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Supervision: 3-4 people.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Strong judgement and organizational skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a regular full-time schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
