About the Role

The London District Catholic School Board is seeking a qualified French teacher to join our team. As a French teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and social growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach French language and culture to students in a Catholic school setting
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and learning
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Education degree and Ontario College of Teachers certification
  • French qualifications and fluency, written and verbal
  • Previous teaching experience in a Catholic school system is an asset
  • Knowledge of Ontario curriculum, evaluation, and assessment techniques
  • Ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment
