Key Responsibilities
  • Database Support: Provide technical support for database processing, data access, performance tuning, and database recovery.
  • Database Design: Provide skilled counsel in the technical design of applications, ensuring optimum use of software facilities and features.
  • Infrastructure Services: Research, analyze, and make recommendations on software/utility usage, and participate in the development and review of standards, guidelines, and processes.
Requirements
  • Extensive Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Vertica database software and its architecture to ensure sound and efficient running of the applications using the platform.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to build and upgrade the Vertica database environments with appropriate knowledge of system and OS settings for optimal SQL performance.
