About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at A-1 Choice Carpet Cleaning and Janitorial Services. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Mopping Floors: Ensure all floors are clean and free of debris, using a variety of cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Dusting and Polishing Furniture: Dust and polish all furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and shine.
  • Cleaning and Disinfecting Fixtures and Appliances: Clean and disinfect all kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.
  • Handling Lost and Found Items: Handle and report all lost and found items to ensure they are returned to their rightful owners.
  • Performing Light Housekeeping Duties: Perform light housekeeping duties such as emptying trash containers and picking up debris.
  • Addressing Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
