Precision Machinist

SEI is seeking a skilled Precision Machinist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machine tools, inspecting final products, and verifying machined parts for conformance to specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools
- Inspect final products and verify machined parts for conformance to specifications
- Compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces
- Lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic, and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 5 years or more of experience in tool and die fabrication
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
