Job Summary
CIMA+ is seeking a highly skilled Senior Hydrologist and Hydraulic Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in the energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on hydrology and hydraulic structures, and river and coastal development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Model and simulate the hydraulics of watercourses and hydraulic installations using specialized software (1D, 2D and 3D).
- Design hydraulic installations such as spillways, retention basins, canals, bridges, culverts, penstocks, etc.
- Plan and carry out field surveys.
- Take charge of clients, projects or batches.
- Write and check technical reports and contribute to the development of plans and specifications.
Requirements
- University Degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
- Master's Degree in hydrology or hydraulics with academic training in modeling (an asset).
- Experience in hydrogeomorphology (an asset).
- More than ten (10) years of experience in the field of river and/or coastal hydraulics.
- Fluency in spoken and written French.
- Fluency in spoken and written English in a professional context to ensure communications on certain projects.
