Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies to join our team at Fortinet. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience and be proficient in Angular for front-end development, and Java, Python, and other programming languages for back-end development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Angular, Java, Python, and other programming languages.
  • Design and Implement Scalable Server-Side Applications: Design and implement scalable, robust, and secure server-side applications using cloud-based technologies.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize Applications for Maximum Speed and Scalability: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability using cloud-based technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug Applications: Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement Best Practices in Software Development and System Design: Implement best practices in software development and system design.
  • Conduct Performance Tuning and Optimization: Conduct performance tuning and optimization for both front-end and back-end applications.
  • Participate in Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
  • Stay Updated with the Latest Industry Trends and Technologies: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are cutting-edge.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ Years of Experience as a Full Stack Developer: 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong background in both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Strong Proficiency in Angular: Strong proficiency in Angular for front-end development.
  • Solid Experience with Back-End Development: Solid experience with back-end development using Java, Python, and other programming languages.
  • Hands-on Experience with Cloud-Based Technologies: Hands-on experience with cloud-based technologies such as OpenStack, Docker containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Proven Experience with Large-Scale Software Development Projects: Proven experience with large-scale software development projects.
  • Ability to Perform Performance Tuning and Optimization: Ability to perform performance tuning and optimization for both front-end and back-end applications.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Communication and Teamwork Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a Related Field: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CI/CD Pipelines and Tools: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of Cloud-Based Technologies: Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as Elasticsearch, Jenkins, Terraform, YAML, Helm, OpenStack, Docker Container, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with Database Management and SQL/NoSQL Databases: Familiarity with database management and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Automated Testing Frameworks and Tools: Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Knowledge of Web Application Security: Knowledge of web application security.
