About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Content Writer and Editor to join our team at Ishu Jindal Films Ltd. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, broadcast or publication on the internet.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate material for publication, ensuring it meets the required standards
• Make decisions on the significance of copy and implement changes as necessary
• Plan layouts or formats according to space or time allocations
• Publish text for distribution across various platforms
• Detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax
• Shorten or lengthen copy to meet client requirements
• Negotiate royalties with authors and initiate payments to freelance staff
• Collaborate with authors, staff writers, reporters, and others to revise copy
• Coordinate activities of staff and ensure production deadlines are met
• Create introductions, marketing materials, bibliographic references, indexes, and other text as needed
Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1-6 months of experience in a related field
Work Arrangements:
• Full-time position
• 35-40 hours per week
• English language
Estimated Salary: ₹ 50,000 - ₹ 70,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
