Residence Life Director

At Trent University, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Residence Life & Education. This is a key leadership position within our Student Housing department, responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of residence life programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement residence life programs and services that promote student engagement, community building, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to create a supportive and inclusive living environment.
- Supervise and support a team of residence life staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Work closely with the Senior Director, Student Housing to develop and implement strategic plans for residence life and student housing.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as higher education, student affairs, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in residence life or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and program development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to student-centered service.
