At Plum Hollow Farms, we are seeking a diligent and hardworking Fruit Farm Laborer to join our team in a full-time position. This role involves working 44 hours per week, with training provided for the right candidate.




  • About the Role:

    • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires no degree. As a Fruit Farm Laborer, you will be responsible for handling crops and vegetables, living on-site, and working in a rural area.


  • Key Responsibilities:

    • You will apply fertilizers to ensure healthy crop growth.
    • Clear fields of wood and stones to maintain a safe working environment.
    • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades to meet quality standards.
    • Participate in hand harvesting vegetables and pack fruits and vegetables for distribution.
    • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to optimize yields.
    • Remove suckers and water sprouts manually to promote healthy plant growth.
    • Sort fruits and vegetables to ensure they meet quality standards.
    • Tie and secure plants to prevent damage.
    • Train trees to produce more fruit through pruning and nurturing techniques.
    • Weeding is essential to maintain a healthy crop environment.
    • Clean the work area regularly to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
    • Apply fertilizers and spray crops as needed to ensure optimal growth.
    • HARVEST CROPS at the right time to ensure maximum yield and quality.



  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

    • You must be able to work independently, manage repetitive tasks, and work under pressure.
    • The ability to handle heavy loads, physical demands, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, large workload, overtime required, sitting, and walking are all essential requirements for this role.
