Network Engineer

Denver Technology is a boutique technology services company with a strong presence in the energy and resources sectors. We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT/OT team, focusing on the design and implementation of routing, switching, and firewalls, as well as security design and project deployments.
The successful candidate will have experience with project deployment and consulting tasks, involving the upgrade, remediation, review, and analysis of IT and OT environments, systems, and infrastructure. They will be able to complete large projects with minimal guidance and contribute to larger project designs and deployments.
The role involves working on-site at client locations or remotely from our offices, with some travel required. The position is primarily based in Perth but may require occasional travel to other locations. Requirements:
- At least 4 years of relevant experience and required knowledge
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT Certificate IV+
- Associate Level Technical industry/vendor certification (Active)
- Knowledge/experience in a second area from the primary area of technical specialisation
- Experienced in creating Detailed Design/High-Level Design (HLD)/Low-Level Design Documents
- General knowledge of the principles of secure IT/OT environment, network, and systems design
- Experienced in providing technical consulting expertise to organisations
- Experienced in project scoping and pre-sales estimations
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Experience in the design, deployment, and support of Operational Technology/Industrial Networks
- Experience in reviewing and analysing existing IT/OT environments, systems, and infrastructure
- Experience in reading and interpreting infrastructure and engineering diagrams and extrapolating system requirements and technical queries
