We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at HYGGE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in the trade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  • Read blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine work requirements
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Prepare tenders and quotations
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Supervise other workers
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems
