Job Title: Auto Body Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Estimator to join our team at MS MotorSports Ltd. As an Auto Body Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating repair costs for damaged vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports
  • Inspect repaired vehicles to ensure quality workmanship
  • Plan repair work to be performed, prioritizing tasks and resources
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in all interactions
  • Replace front-end components, body components, doors, and frame and underbody components as needed
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, ensuring a precise and even coat
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs, ensuring a safe and secure vehicle
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a perfect match
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams, ensuring a seamless finish
  • Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment, restoring the vehicle's original shape
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Attention to detail is crucial, ensuring accuracy and quality in all work
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in auto body repair or a related field
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise estimates
  • Reliability and accuracy are essential, with a strong attention to detail
Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and occasional overtime as needed.
