Senior Therapist Opportunity in Maple Ridge

We are seeking a skilled Senior Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Seniors Wellness, specializing in long term care. This role is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing high-quality care to seniors.

About the Role

This part-time position involves working 5 hours per week in Maple Ridge, BC. As a Senior Therapist, you will be responsible for performing clinical evaluations, identifying equipment needs, and providing education on seating, positioning, and independence.

  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care to enhance the functional abilities and quality of life of clients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery
  • Provide expert guidance on adaptive equipment and assistive technology to support client mobility and independence
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop effective intervention strategies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists
  • Experience working in long term care settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate between $45-$65/hour, as well as a contractor status. We also provide extensive safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
