We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Jack\u0027s Family Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

The ideal candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 1 year of experience in a similar role. You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Ordering supplies and equipment as needed
  • Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment

In addition to your culinary skills, you will also be responsible for supporting newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition and providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment.
