Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at David Asher Bistricer. As a permanent position, this opportunity offers stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact in our daily operations.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dust furniture and other household items to ensure they remain in good condition.
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered furniture to prevent dust accumulation.
  • Make beds and change sheets as needed to maintain a comfortable living space.
  • Stock the linen closet with fresh linens and towels to ensure a seamless laundry process.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain their functionality.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to prevent odors and pests.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a fresh and clean atmosphere.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain the overall cleanliness of the residence.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a spotless appearance.
Requirements
  • A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is essential for this role.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness expected by our clients.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods are necessary tasks for this position.
  • The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required for this role.
  • Previous experience in a similar field is an asset, but not mandatory.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $40,000-$45,000 CAD, depending on location and experience.
