Job Overview

Luxoft is a professional investment management organization that globally invests funds to ensure long-term sustainability. We attract and select high-caliber individuals from top-tier institutions worldwide.

This role involves managing timelines/deliverables within the team towards successful project delivery. Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to understand requirements. Develop solutions aligned with client technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities. Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timelines/deliverables within the team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Design software solutions by collaborating with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff, and peers to understand requirements.
  • Develop solutions in line with client technology biases, delivering efficiency and scalability while enabling new trading activities.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong technical skills in Angular JS (7+ years)
  • Strong technical skills in Python, Postgres SQL, Dynamo DB, Neptune, Elastic/Open Search
  • Excellent communication skills and strong client-facing skills with ability to manage client expectations
  • Demonstrated experience developing and integrating enterprise business applications within the financial services industry (7+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience integrating applications and processes using web services, API
  • Demonstrated experience using Agile or Rapid Application Development practices
  • Good understanding and practical experience in DevOps, CI/CD (1+ year)
  • Jira, Confluence - confident user
  • University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
