About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Residential Care Professional to join our team at Health Careers in Sask.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $23,170 and $24,840 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Residential Care Professional, you will provide personal care and support services to clients/patients/residents in a residential care setting. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients/patients/residents with their daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom.

You will also be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of clients/patients/residents. This may involve assisting with meal preparation, housekeeping, and other tasks as needed.

In addition to your direct care responsibilities, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each client/patient/resident.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Food Safe certification (where required)
Benefits

This is a part-time regular position with a scheduled hours of work: 114.96 hours per 4-week rotation. The shift information includes Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends. You may be required to travel to various locations as part of your job duties.
