Welder Fabricator Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team at beBee Professionals in Sherwood Park, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for performing welding tasks to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.

About the Job

This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime pay. The estimated hourly wage for this role is between $35-$45 CAD per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal structures and components.
  • Metal Fabrication: Perform welding operations using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, arc) to fabricate and repair metal structures and components.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished work to ensure compliance with specifications and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Safety: Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Completion of a welding program or apprenticeship, and certification in welding techniques (e.g., AWS, CWB).
  • Experience: Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction setting.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong attention to detail and quality control, ability to work in a physically demanding environment, and excellent communication skills.
