Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Canada Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and service
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant data
  • Comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including hours of service and weight restrictions
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Long Haul Truck Driver
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina to withstand the demands of long hours on the road
Working Conditions

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines. You will be exposed to varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and inclement weather. You will also be required to work long hours, including nights and weekends.
