About the Job:

The Development Officer at DeafBlind Ontario Services will play a critical role in advancing our philanthropic efforts by developing and managing the growth of the mid-level donor portfolio, building and maintaining key relationships, and designing and implementing a robust donor acquisition strategy. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a high proficiency in fundraising software and Microsoft Office products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the growth of the mid-level donor portfolio, with a focus on upgrading, renewing, and acquiring new donors.
- Build and maintain key relationships through multi-channel communication, ensuring engagement and upgrading of mid-level donors.
- Design and implement a robust donor acquisition strategy in mid-level giving.
- Manage gaming programs, including volunteer recruitment and supervision, to drive growth in the gaming portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to implement awareness-building events and social media campaigns.

Requirements:
- A college diploma in communications, business administration, fundraising, or a related field.
- CFRE designation or working towards certification.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in fundraising roles or similar capacities in the not-for-profit sector.
