Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Technician will monitor and inspect Sofina products, materials, equipment, and production facilities to ensure compliance with Sofina Quality by Process philosophy, Sofina QA programs and specifications, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and implement Sofina QA documents, including HACCP Plans, CCPs, pre-requisite programs, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform Quality Assurance checks, including CCP checks, GMP monitoring, pre-operational inspection, and conformity of finished products.
- Operate and calibrate lab equipment, conduct microbiological tests, and maintain accurate lab records.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and operational reviews.
- Train employees on quality requirements and provide feedback on quality issues.
- Assist in QA projects, such as microbiological sample collection and environmental sampling.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Quality Assurance or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and Quality regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing food processes.
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
