About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, with experience in requirement gathering, process improvement, and project management. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop detailed requirements for system acquisition, development, or enhancement projects.
As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for:
- Eliciting requirements from client internal users and developing detailed requirements for system acquisition, development, or enhancement projects;
- Working closely with the business, project managers, solution architects, developers, and other IT resources to develop deliverables;
- Writing and maintaining test approach (strategy/plan for functional, integration, and user acceptance testing);
- Creating complete sets of test scenarios and prioritizing test scenarios;
- Creating/identifying/reviewing and executing manual test scripts;
- Leading test data requirements and test data creation;
- Leading test team and defect meetings;
- Producing status reports and final test phase reports.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Developing detailed requirements for system acquisition, development, or enhancement projects;
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs;
- Writing and maintaining test approach;
- Creating complete sets of test scenarios;
- Leading test team and defect meetings.
Deliverables
You will be responsible for delivering the following:
- Requirements (high-level and detailed);
- Requirements traceability matrix;
- Benefits review plan;
- Operations, maintenance, and service level requirement;
- Test summary report.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong understanding of business processes and complex business rules;
- The ability to translate technical processes into business language;
- Proven testing skills and techniques;
- Proven communication and facilitation skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Experience with SDLC best practices;
- The ability to function within a high level of activity (working with deadlines on several concurrent initiatives).
