Bodywork Specialist

At SMB Massage & Spa, we are seeking a skilled Bodywork Specialist to join our team in the day spa setting. This is a permanent position with a flexible schedule of 30-35 hours per week.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience, depending on qualifications and location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations.

This role involves assessing clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests, and proposing treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

In this rewarding role, you will work closely with clients to create personalized massage experiences, helping them achieve optimal physical and mental well-being.

• Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations;
• Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans;
• Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field;
• A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
• Proficiency in English language;
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations.
