About the Role

This Specialty Sales Associate position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, selling high-end, high-quality merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Working at our boutique stores, selling luxury brands
  • Contributing to achieving store goals in sales, productivity, and service
  • Representing various luxury brands to customers and acting as a Brand Ambassador
  • Having open and flexible availability, including early mornings, afternoons, late evenings, and weekends
  • Working a part-time schedule
  • Working in our duty-free stores at Toronto Pearson International Airport
Key Responsibilities
  • Acknowledge and greet customers
  • Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and store management
  • Know basic store layout to assist customers and answer questions
  • Effectively operate a cash register
  • Follow all company policies, cash handling policies, and special store loss prevention procedures
  • Communicate pricing, out-of-date, and inventory issues with management
  • Protect all company assets, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean store environment
  • Isolate, sort, and organize damaged and outdated products and returns
  • Help maintain a neat, clean, organized store, including sweeping, dusting, and trash removal
  • Place stock orders, receive freight, load, and unload trucks
  • Provide ongoing stock replenishment to the sales floor
  • Assist in inventory and reconciliation of inventory variances
Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse personalities
  • 2 years retail experience, preferably with luxury brands
  • Proficiency in the operation of a cash register
  • Excellent customer service skills and demonstrable experience in dealing with difficult customers
  • Excellent verbal communication and relational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Be able to lift 40-60 pounds
  • Ability to work in an environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold
  • Good time-management skills and problem-solving abilities
