Supervisor of Security Operations

We are seeking a seasoned Supervisor of Security Operations to join our team at Metropolitan Toronto Condominium Corporation No.597.
Job SummaryThis is a supervisory role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of security services within our condominium complex.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Direct and manage a team of security guards, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they meet performance expectations.
- Operational Management: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to maintain optimal security and operational efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the proper functioning of computer equipment and machinery, resolving technical issues as needed.
- Quality Control: Monitor quality and production levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Reporting and Record-keeping: Prepare and submit progress reports, maintaining accurate records of security incidents, training sessions, and personnel matters.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Certifications and Licenses: Hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid, as well as a valid Security Guard License.
- Education: Possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Bring at least 1 year of experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably in a security-related field.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

- Working Conditions: A 35-40 hour workweek, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
The ideal candidate will be based in Metropolitan Toronto and work 35-40 hours per week.
