Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Audiologist to join our Infant Hearing Program team. The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis, approximately 7.5 hours per week for 9 weeks, from January 27 to March 21. The role will involve working at our Mississauga site and may require travel between ErinoakKids sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Counselling families as required, and maintaining proper documentation and health and safety practices as outlined by ErinoakKids and the IHP.
  • Traveling between ErinoakKids sites to support the Infant Hearing Program.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to families and staff on pediatric ear impressions, ear mold fitting, and hearing aid fitting.

Qualifications:

  1. Membership in good standing with the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario (AHIP) or Registration with College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with infants and children, parents, and staff.
  3. Experience with pediatric ear impressions, ear mold fitting, and hearing aid fitting.
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $43,000 to $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including mandatory immunization requirements, including full COVID-19 vaccination.
