Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Professional to join our team in Mechanical Systems Integration for New Product Development. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working with suppliers on projects related to mechanical systems components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define technical requirements and participate in supplier strategies for new systems.
  • Collaborate with internal parties and suppliers for problem-solving on a daily basis.
  • Negotiate interfaces with other systems/structures and formalize agreements on Interface Control Drawings.
  • Lead technical meetings with suppliers and deliver quality engineering documentation that meets Bombardier Standards.
  • Chair design reviews and master regulatory and industry requirements.
  • Ensure system components meet technical and certification requirements.
  • Act as a technical leader and transfer knowledge through coaching/mentoring within your team.
Requirements

You must have a degree in engineering or a DEC in aeronautics or mechanics with over 10 years of relevant experience. You have acquired experience in interior finishing of business jets, knowledge of the Global aircraft range, and integration of peripherals is an asset.

You have significant experience working with Enovia/Catia and Teamcenter/NX (GSD, Assy, Part Body, Drafting, etc.). You have a good understanding of product structures and aircraft certification. You have the ability to understand complex engineering problems and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving. You are a motivated team player, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision. You have good communication skills, including writing and communication in English and French. You are organized, responsible, and have demonstrated excellent skills in meeting commitments successfully.
