Lead Academic Position at Collège Milestone

We are seeking an experienced academic leader to fill the role of Chief Academic Director at Collège Milestone. This is a unique opportunity for a visionary leader to shape the future of education and drive academic excellence.

About the Role

The Chief Academic Director will oversee the development and execution of our academic strategy, ensuring alignment with the institution's mission and goals. This involves leading the supervision and implementation of the academic plan, collaborating closely with the Program Development Director to implement new programs, and designing and executing strategic academic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  1. Academic Leadership
    • Develop and execute academic strategies to enhance student success and satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with faculty and staff to foster a high-quality learning environment conducive to student achievement.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Team Leadership
    • Supervise, mentor, and manage both academic and student affairs teams to promote employee growth and development.
    • Address conflicts and complaints from students, faculty, or staff in a proactive and fair manner.
  3. Operational Excellence
    • Act as a key point of communication to ensure policies and procedures are effectively understood and followed by staff.
    • Provide teaching support as needed to ensure uninterrupted delivery of academic programs.
  4. Student Success & Engagement
    • Actively listen to student needs and work collaboratively to implement solutions that enhance their academic experience and satisfaction.
    • Create a student-centered learning environment that promotes inclusivity, engagement, and academic achievement.
  5. Financial & Budget Management
    • Plan, develop, and manage the academic sector budget in coordination with the executive team and administrative services.

Requirements

  • Strong background in academic leadership and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • On-site free parking.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
