Job Title: Janitorial Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Assistant to join our team at Atwal Janitorial Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Janitorial Assistant will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our office buildings, commercial spaces, and shopping centers. This includes sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and wax floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Judgement and reliability
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Janitorial Assistant will work in a variety of settings, including office buildings, commercial spaces, and shopping centers. The work environment will be physically demanding and require the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Personal Suitability:

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also be reliable, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
