Project Manager

AECOM is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in Markham, ON. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in planning, execution, and delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering design projects.
- Coordinate project work with the engineering design team, including architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering disciplines.
- Assist in developing and delivering projects from inception to final completion through scope development, preliminary design, detailed design, construction administration, handover, and closeout.
- Lead in-house designers and external sub-consultants through all project phases.
- Ensure quality principles are applied and followed by the design team, and that documents meet quality requirements.
- Coordinate the work of sub-consultants and in-house design teams.
- Assist the Project Manager and Project Controls in monthly progress and performance reporting.
- Play an active role in records management, budget tracking, and scheduling.
- Prepare meeting minutes, reports, and other project documents.
Qualifications:
- A University degree in a relevant engineering or architectural discipline, plus 4 (four) years of experience as a licensed Engineer or Architect, working within the consulting industry on large, complex construction projects.
- Project Management experience and/or PMP certification.
