About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our team as a Security Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive security solutions that meet client needs and comply with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to understand client requirements and develop customized solutions.
  • Mentor and train junior technicians in system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Lead site leadership of technician crews and provide technical guidance and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and execute acceptance testing plans to ensure seamless integration of security systems.
  • Assist in system design and layout to optimize security coverage and minimize costs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry.
  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Vendor certification in low-voltage systems is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.
  • Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.
  • Capable of prolonged standing/walking.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
