We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at GLOBAL SUPERMARKET & TAKE OUT INC.
Job SummaryThe Meat Cutter will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products for sale in our supermarket. This includes cleaning meats, preparing special cuts, and wrapping and packaging prepared meats.
Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Weigh and price meat products
- Sell meats to customers
- Grind meats as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Reliability and strong organizational skills
The Meat Cutter will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of hand-eye coordination required. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
