Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Technologist to join our team at Brightshores. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Operate and maintain Digital Radiography and Computed Radiography equipment to acquire high-quality images.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of patient safety.
- Adhere to Brightshores' 'CARE' Behaviours and 'LEAD' Competencies.
- 3-year community college or undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario in Radiography or eligible for registration.
- Professional Liability Insurance.
- Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist (or eligible for registration).
- Working knowledge of the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario and the Regulated Health Professions Act.
- Current technical experience with Digital Radiography and Computed Radiography equipment.
- Current PACS experience.
- Current CT experience.
- IV Certification course.
- Advanced Computer Skills.
- Proven interpersonal skills to successfully communicate with patients and staff.
- Demonstrated ability in the following competencies: initiative/self-management, problem-solving, and accountability.
- Able to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to work independently and co-operatively as part of a team.
- Positive advocate for professional body of Radiology and the Imaging Department.
- Ability to work all shifts, including weekends; ability for standby and multi-site coverage when required.
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record.
