Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Transport Driver to join our team at Thunder Towing & Heavy Recovery. This is a full-time position that requires the ability to safely transport heavy equipment and materials across various terrains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport Heavy Equipment: Safely transport heavy equipment and materials using straight or articulated trucks, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Cargo Management: Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring that it is properly tied down and protected from damage during transit.
  • Logistics Coordination: Communicate with dispatchers and other stakeholders to coordinate transportation logistics, including scheduling, route planning, and arrival times.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during transportation.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL): Possess a valid AZ class license and Class 3/3F/DF Licence for trailer trucks.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial truck driver, with a strong emphasis on heavy equipment transportation.
  • Safety Record: A clean safety record, with no accidents or incidents reported during previous employment.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, as well as withstand the physical demands of long hours behind the wheel.
Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.
