Job Description

SII Canada is seeking an experienced Aerospace Design and Development Professional to join our team. This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $140,000 per year.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in designing and developing aerospace vehicles, systems, and components. The ideal candidate will have experience with computer simulations, specification development, manufacturing supervision, and testing coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop aerospace vehicles, systems, and components
  • Develop and conduct computer simulations of aerospace vehicles, systems, and components
  • Prepare specifications for aerospace manufacturing, maintenance, repair, or modification
  • Supervise and coordinate the manufacturing, repair, and overhaul of aircraft and spacecraft
  • Coordinate ground and flight tests of aircraft and spacecraft
  • Write manuals for operators stating operational specifications and maintenance schedules
  • Report on structural, component, or system failures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aerospace design and development
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
