Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is seeking a seasoned Category Management professional to lead our HABS team. As a Team Leader Category Management, you will be responsible for monitoring employee performance and engaging all employees in category management processes. This includes developing, training, and focusing employees on key performance activities to drive continuous improvement and development of Category Management practices.

You will work closely with our national buying group affiliation, providing strategic leadership and direction, and strong negotiations skills to achieve financial gains for all members.

Our team is dedicated to building Western Canadian communities by providing leadership to Co-op Home Centres that benefits local consumers and contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading a team of Category Management Specialists and Category Managers
* Working closely with internal stakeholders and customer/owners of local co-op home centres
* Developing and implementing category management strategies to drive business growth and profitability

Requirements:

* 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in wholesale and retail hardware/building products
* Buying and management experience is required
* Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or Commerce (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
