Technical Artist

At Electronic Arts Inc., we're looking for a skilled Rigging Technical Artist to join our team. As a key member of our Rigging Team, you'll play a crucial role in pushing the boundaries of visual experiences for our players.
As a Rigging Technical Artist, you'll work under the direction of a Rigging Lead to ensure that deliverables are achieved at quality and on time. Your responsibilities will include skeleton creation, character and object skinning, control rigging, cloth/hair simulation, asset maintenance, and script development.
We're looking for someone with at least 4 years of cinematic or games production experience, a background in rigging and skinning complex assets, and effective communication skills. Experience with scripting/programming in Python and expertise with Autodesk Maya are also essential.
As a Rigging Technical Artist, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from character simulation to game development. You'll be part of a diverse team that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Our team works hybrid 3 days/onsite at EA Vancouver, and we offer a competitive base salary range of $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually, as well as a package of benefits including vacation, sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage.
