Cashier - Casino Job Description

Eagle River Casino and Travel Plaza is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while operating a cash register, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash handling area and surrounding environment
  • Stock shelves and clean the counter area as needed
  • Participate in promotional activities and events to enhance the guest experience
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
Requirements:
  • Casino Gaming License
  • Electronic cash register experience
  • Interac machine knowledge
  • Price scanner proficiency
  • Computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system skills
  • Criminal record check
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment:
