Job Title: Food Service Supervisor - Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Barakah Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules

Requirements:

  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 3-4 people under supervision
  • Own transportation
