Construction Paving Technician

The successful candidate will possess a valid Class 5 Driver's License and at least 5 years of experience operating a screed. They must also be mechanically inclined and have knowledge of City of Edmonton specifications. The ability to read survey markings is also essential.

Safety & Environment:

  • Adhere to all company safety and environmental practices and policies – training provided
  • All spills must be first contained and the proper authorities notified immediately thereafter (follow written procedure)

Maintenance:

  • Operate and perform routine maintenance on the paver, including washing and cleaning
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all equipment service records, keeping accurate and thorough records of the maintenance performed, hours on the unit, date, time, etc.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

This is a seasonal, full-time position based in Edmonton, AB. As part of our dedicated focus on employee health and safety, a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check, may be required.
