Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Time Physiotherapist to join our team in Cold Lake, AB. As a key member of our inter-professional team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating out-patient musculoskeletal injuries, creating individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure excellent patient care.
Your Day-to-Day
- You will assess and treat a variety of MSK injuries, including strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion.
- You will create and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough analysis and clinical reasoning.
- You will utilize e-charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations.
- You will delegate treatment to Registered Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants as needed.
- You will collaborate with the inter-professional team at your clinic to ensure seamless communication and high-quality patient care.
- You may also supervise Physiotherapy students, if preferred.
- You will communicate effectively with external stakeholders and client referral sources.
- You will manage your caseload in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
- A registration (in good standing) with the provincial College of Physiotherapists.
- 1-2+ years' experience treating clients in an outpatient setting, although this is not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development.
