KBL Environmental is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Field Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to solve complex problems and ensure efficient equipment operation
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the safe operation of equipment
  • Accurately complete work orders, including time and parts per repair
  • Drive company service truck to difficult-to-access locations
  • Plan and prepare for remote repairs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working on heavy equipment
  • Familiarity with Cat/John Deere/Komatsu/Volvo equipment is considered an asset
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
  • Small crane training
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge in inventory management
  • Self-motivator willing to work overtime if needed
Working Environment:

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with occasional overtime. Travel to remote locations is required, and the noise level in the environment can be excessive. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be willing to adapt to changing priorities.
